About me

My name is Kestutis, but friends usually calling me Kes.

I born in Klaipeda (Lithuania)-1976.


In 1983 we moved to Palanga, small resort town about 25km North from Klaipeda.

12 years old, became SWL-53. Used my first big Russian navy receiver “Volna-K” to receive ham radio signals all over the world.  On the picture ..not me 🙂 In 1996 passed the first exam for ham radio call sign – LY3PKZ. Year later Became LY3PK and after all with the final call which I’m using now in Lithuania is LY3K.  UK call sign – M0PKZ.

In 2004 in Klaipeda finished Klaipedas technology college, where obtained my Engineer degree. 

In 2002 moved with a family to UK. Living in the mid part UK-Grantham

 Other hobbies:  

In 2013 passed my open water PADI diver exam, so now second hobby is a diving.


2014 Passed my Advanced open water diver course in Sharm el sheikh-Egypt
